Andino's Hoping to Keep His Groove This Time

Kolohe Andino seemed to be in peak form at the beginning of the 2017 season. After a runner-up finish at Margaret River he was sitting No. 4 on the Jeep Leaderboard, and things were looking up. But a severe slump over the last four events has sent the Californian sliding all the way down to No. 14 on the rankings. Fortunately for Andino, he's snapped out of it in Tahiti with a strong, 3rd-place finish. Along the way he enjoyed some impressive wins on his backhand, including a Round Four win over Gabe Medina and Matt Wilkinson, as well as a clutch Quarterfinal win over Wiggolly Dantas. Now, Andino's big challenge is to keep his groove going as the Tour swings through his backyard at Trestles.
