Post Show Report: World Title-Chasers Triumph and Tumble

Peter Mel and Strider Wasilewski joined Kaipo Guerrero on set following Day 3 of the Cascais Women's Pro and EDP Billabong Pro Cascais to look back at the day's top stories. The big headline came from the Women's event, where Tyler Wright and Stephanie Gilmore were eliminated in Round Two.

Half of the Quarterfinalists are now set in the Cascais Women's Pro, including Jeep Leader Sally Fitzgibbons, while an important clash between No. 2 Courtney Conlogue and No. 5 Sage Erickson will highlight Round Four action.

On the Men's side, hometown hero Frederico Morais continued to thrill local fans with his efficient, powerful approach. But it was perennial QS campaigner, Wade Carmichael, and CT No. 18, Frenchman Joan Duru, who shined brightest at Guincho on Day 3. The final four heats of Round Three will be completed when the EDP Billabong Pro resumes.
