BOQ has agreed to a three-year deal to be the presenting partner of Gold Coast's premier surfing event, the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro, which will see the world's best surfers hitting the waves at Snapper Rocks on 1-12 March.

“And for events like this it's not just the event organisers, competitors and spectators that benefit from corporate support – the tourism these events generate has a positive flow-on effect for local businesses and the economy.
“We were looking for opportunities to support Queensland sport, community, culture and economy, and the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro ticked all those boxes,†he said.
The Association of Surfing Professionals' Commissioner Kieren Perrow met up with local BOQ Owner-Managers to congratulate the Bank on becoming a presenting partner.
“It's great to have BOQ on board as a partner for the ASP's first World Championship Tour event of the year,†Mr Perrow said.
“Surfing is one of the coolest and most exciting sports on the planet which BOQ recognise with their renewed support into the future of the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro."
Tweed Heads local and professional surfer Stephanie Gilmore said she was fortunate to open up the WCT season each year at home on the Gold Coast.
“We travel the world year-round to so be able to sleep in my own bed and have the support of my family and friends, it's really enjoyable,†Ms Gilmore said.
