LOS ANGELES, California/USA (Tuesday, January 30, 2018) - Deeply concerning reports out of Europe this morning that Quiksilver CEO Pierre Agnes, 54, is missing off the coast of Southwestern France. Reports indicate that Agnes left Capbreton Harbor at 7:30am Tuesday morning. His vessel, the 36-foot Mascaret III, was found flooded and washed ashore at 9:30am north of La Graviere at the beach of Boiteux. No one was found with the vessel. Search and Rescue crews are scanning the area. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family at this time, as well as the search and rescue teams.
