Round 3 and 2 heats of Round 4 of the Vans US Open of Surfing - Men's were completed Thursday in Huntington Beach, California. Although conditions remained inconsistent throughout the day, top athletes were able to make the most of it - with their power game playing a major role in advancement. Peterson Crisanto from Brazil earned the day's high score with an 8.30. Evan Geiselman also shined during his Round 3 battle, earning an 8.27 over Michael February, Ian Crane and Nat Young.
