Portugal's Tiago Pires has withdrawn from the Stop No. 2 of 11 on the 2014 Samsung Galaxy ASP World Championship Tour (WCT), the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro, citing a knee injury sustained while surfing Avalon in Sydney following the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast.

Glenn Hall, first ASP WCT replacement, has declined the invitation due to his ongoing back injury (sustained in Fiji last season) and second ASP WCT replacement Australian Mitch Coleborn has accepted a position in the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro.

Coleborn will take on compatriots Joel Parkinson and Adam Melling in Round 1 of competition.
