Things were still pretty slow in the morning so the Cabreiroá Pro Las Americas remained On Hold for a little while, but on the outgoing tide waves started to peel again down the lefthand reef and competition got underway with the remaining heats of men's Round 3, then Men's Round 4.
Without much surprise, local legend Jonathan Gonzalez brought his dominating self to the party in Round 4 and advance with an 8.83, one of the highest single scores of the entire event so far.
Jose 'Nacho' Gundesen will be the sole international surfer remaining in the men's event, and Sol Aguirre will carry the same responsibility in the women's Round 3. That's two South Americans against the whole European continent in the next round, good luck you two!
On or Off most people stayed around the site to watch their fellow competitors or just simply cruise and enjoy the generous Canarian sun on another beautiful day. Who can blame them? Check out how cool the setup is below:

Once again the women got a day off today and it was the perfect opportunity to catch up with Maud Le Car on her previous round performance and aspirations in this event and season.
Both men and women competitors will be back at 8 a.m Friday for the next call and potentially the last round of 4-surfer action before the Quarters match up surfer one on one! Stay tuned!
In the meantime here's a selection of today's best shots!
