There are a number of new parks in various states of construction, but the first one to actually make some waves appears to be the new Palm Springs Surf Club - and they're not to be taken lightly.
Dylan Graves took a dip in the pool for Vans' "Weird Waves" series. Sharing a session with founder Cheyne Magnusson they dial up the power, and then pay the price.
When you see professional surfers pulling back in a pool, you know they must doing something right. This slabbing wave could do some damage, and certainly get the heart racing.
The episode also features man-made waves in Malaysia, where Graves is joined by South African stylist Michael February, as well as Waco, Texas, for the Stab High contest.
