Back then, of course, the final section of a surf film was something to be admired -- it was a sort of "finish with a bang" mentality.
The clip you see above was recently posted on Steele's Youtube channel, "Momentum Files." On the back of the success of HBO's Momentum Generation, the channel will show people little extra bits and pieces from a time when surfing was changing rapidly, due mostly in part to a small group of people. Here's the greatest of all time, just a few short months after winning his first World Title.
