If terms of getting stuck overseas during a COVID-19 lockdown, Bali surely has to be at the top of the list for any surfer. Tim Bisso found himself in that position a few months ago and he wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. With his filmer Max Desantis in tow Bisso split his time between the Bukit Peninsula and Canguu and has released a clip of his adventures called "Overstay".
The lightening quick goofyfoot had traveled to the famed surf destination known as the Island of The Gods for a quick break from his QS campaign. The Portuguese-based Guadeloupe surfer was all pumped having come off the best competitive year of his career in 2019.
After early QS wins in Senegal and Tenerife the former World Junior Champion Runner-up was in the race for the CT qualification for most of the year. He ending up finishing in 44th place on the QS and was eyeing off 2020 as a year to make even further progression towards his ultimate goal of qualification.

After competing in Australia, a quick trip to Bali to recharge the batteries before returning to Europe turned into an extended stay due to Covid-19 restrictions. Of course what he lost in qualifying points and being away from friends and family, was made up with empty sessions at Uluwatu, Padang and Canguu.
The resulting clip, Overstay, showcases the explosive power of Bisso and a class display of tuberiding, turns and airs at Bali's best waves.
