The Gold Coast has been getting a lot of attention lately -- it seems like every other week this year, Snapper is firing,
But as this clip from mySURF tv (filmed late last year) reminds us, if you're a regular-footed surfer, Australia's east coast might just be the greatest place in the world.
The point breaks in the Noosa national park may be a little less hollow than their cousins further south on the Goldie, but their unique charms and the gorgeous backdrop more than make up for that. And the added bonus is that they become the perfect canvas for surfing on all sorts of craft -- from shortboards to logs.
Twin fin lord Asher Pacey steals the show in this clip, as per usual, so sit back and enjoy a few minutes of styled-out surfing.
