It's summertime in the Mexico which means consistent south swell lighting up pockets of coastline from Ensenada all the way through Salina Cruz. Well, Winter also means waves in Mex, so there's never really any downtime.
In his latest quarantine special, Nathan Florence covers one of his best trips to Puerto Escondido from 2018, all shot in 4k. Alongside his homebreak of Pipeline, and especially Jaws, Puerto is a place that shaped his Florence's confidence in waves of consequence.
For Nathan, Puerto is also a place of firsts. It was the birthplace of his first backside barrel on a gun, his first mullet, his first run-in with a boa constrictor, and his first pet possum.
