How Pauline Ado's Three Weeks In NZ Turned Into A Three Month Adventure
Cayla Moore
During mid March of this year, French athletes Pauline Ado and Tristan Guilbaud were in New Zealand preparing for the 2020 Corona Piha Pro. When the event was called off following the COVID-19 lockdowns, the French duo joined up with fellow CT competitor Paige Hareb at her home in Taranaki.
What was supposed to be a three-week stay soon became three months of stoke. And as life started to slow down, these professional surfers took the time to enjoy the beauty around them. "Stuck In Taradise" covers the daily life in Hareb's hometown, where new local rules allowed them to enjoy a slower life filled with surfing, food, and good company. In the edit the crew explores what Taranaki has to offer with picturesque hiking, scenic coastlines, and pumping surf.
