J-Bay needs help, urgently. Due to all of the restrictions and changes in global travel, COVID has destroyed the livelihoods of many of the locals. Now, without being able to work, feeding their families has become a serious challenge.
To help with this situation, South Africa's Mikey February and Jordy Smith are getting behind the Let's Feed J-Bay initiative,, and you can help too. The surfers and their shapers have organized to raffle off two custom orders from SMTH Shapes and Channel Islands.
J-Bay has provided so many wonderful moments in surf history and this is an opportunity to give back to a community that has given us all so much for so many years. The funds will go towards a $30,000 shipment of food, which is desperately needed at this time, especially with the holiday season at hand.
The winners of the raffle will get to spend some time on a Zoom call with Jordy and Graham or Mikey and Britt to discuss their board. For each $5 you donate you will receive one entry. The more you donate, the higher your chances of winning and also the more you'll be supporting some amazing people that really needs a hand from the surfing community.
All the details and entry can be found here.
