LOS ANGELES, Calif./USA (Friday, March 5, 2021) - Coco Ho has been announced the host and moderator of Getting Heated, the World Surf League's newest weekly show that debates the hottest topics in surfing. Ho will prompt Mick Fanning, three-time World Champion, and Ross Williams, surf coach and former CT competitor, with even more contentious debate topics where they will share their unfiltered thoughts.

"I have so much respect for Mick and Ross and their knowledge and love of the sport," said Ho. "This will be fun! I feel like we all have such diverse knowledge of surfing and intimate friendships within the sport that we will defend or have to put aside each topic."

Ho, the 10-year CT veteran, brings new insights and questions to the show, putting even more pressure on Fanning and Williams in their discussions. In her first episode as moderator, Ho ignites heated discussions about if the Women's and Men's Championship Tours be separate; who has a better chance to win a CT event, Kolohe Andino or a rookie; and if it is better to be the next Kelly Slater or Jamie O'Brien if you were a grom.

"I grew up idolizing Mick Fanning as a teenager then quickly transitioned to his 'peer' once we were on tour together for 8 or so years," continued Ho. "It's funny how that works. I am born and raised in the same hometown as Ross and have been around him on tour for a lot of years now, so not unfamiliar with either one bit. I look forward to digging into fun topics with them on the show."
