With the Jeep Surf Ranch Pro about to go down on June 18, a quick look back to the last time we saw our Championship Tour surfers in a jersey in Lemoore.

Shot in April 2020, this Sound Waves episode follows Filipe Toledo through not only this 2020 freshwater event, but also his win at the 2019 Oi Rio Pro in Saquerema, Brazil. Despite beating Jordy Smith in the Finals with a score of 18.04, Toledo admitted his biggest issues were his battles with his mental health. Opening up about his ups and downs, it's an important, revealing look at one of surfing's brightest stars.

Currently sitting fourth on the WSL Leaderboard, he dedicated his recent win at the Boost Mobile Margaret River Pro presented by Corona to his son and wants to be the best father he can be while also still dreaming of World Title glory.

*Don't miss Kolohe Andino and Filipe's training session at the 11 minute mark where Big Fil lands a huge Gorkin Flip ... the maneuver that won Medina the 2019 Fresh Water Pro.
