Tyler Wright (AUS) committed on a large Cloudbreak wave in Round 4.
Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) throwing caution to the wind with Cloudbreak pumping.
Paige Hareb (NZL) finished on the wrong end of a low-scoring Round 4 heat against Malia Manuel (HAW).
Manuel won her Round 4 heat but injured her hand severely. She'd have three heats to recover before hitting the water for the Quarterfinals.
Bianca Buitendag (ZAF) set the bar high on her opening ride of the Quarterfinals, posting an 8.17.

Fitzgibbons continued to carve up the massive faces of Cloudbreak in her Quarterfinal victory over Laura Enever (AUS).
Carissa Moore's (HAW) loss to Dimity Stoyle (AUS) marks the first time the reigning World Champion hasn't made the Semifinals this season.
Stoyle was outstanding throughout, defeating the World No. 1 but ultimately falling in the Semis--to the event winner.
Hitting the water with a bandage around her wrist, Manuel showed a whole new level of toughness, winning her Quarterfinal heat against rookie Johanne Defay (FRA), but was ultimately kept out of the Finals by Fitzgibbons.
Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) was on a tear at Cloudbreak, heading into the Finals following back-to-back 15.50 heat totals.
Fitzgibbons rode her Final heat with the same composure she showed throughout the entirety of the Fiji Women's Pro and came out on top.
