ANCHOR POINT, Taghazout Bay / Morocco (Monday, January 10, 2021) - The World Surf League today announced the postponement of the 2022 Rip Curl Pro Search Taghazout Bay. The continued COVID19 pandemic effects on travel restrictions have forced WSL officials, event partners and local organization committee to move the event from its original dates from February 21-27, 2022.
Morocco has suspended all regular passenger flights in and out of Morocco until January 31, 2022 with no visibility at this stage regarding the following weeks and months.
Event officials are investigating potential new dates and that is why the event remains on the WSL schedule as Tentative. An update will be given in February.
The 2022 Rip Curl Pro Pro Search Taghazout Bay was initially scheduled from February 21-27, 2022, at Anchor Point, Taghazout Bay / Morocco. For all results, photos, video highlights and press releases, log on to worldsurfleague.com.
