The WSL and Surfing NSW have made the difficult decision to postpone the Mad Mex Maroubra Pro that was due to start tomorrow.
The current state of emergency in NSW should be taken seriously, and competitors on the road should make getting home safely a priority. If anyone cannot get home, for any reason, please contact WSL APAC.
WSL and Surfing NSW are working on a new date for the event, and will give you the information as soon as we can.
We can guarantee the new Maroubra date won't be before the Avoca event (14th March). We will be refunding all entry fees to surfers, and you will be able to re-enter the event once it re-opens.
