COOLANGATTA, QLD/AUS (Thursday March 24, 2022) - Iconic surf-wear brand Rusty will be joining forces with the World Surf League as the Official Apparel Partner of the 2022 Margaret River Pro. It will be the first time in over a decade that the brand will be involved with WSL at the Championship Tour level.

"Rusty is one of the most recognisable and iconic brands in surfing so WSL is stoked to have them onboard as the official apparel partner of the Margaret River Pro in 2022," said WSL APAC General Manager Andrew Stark. "Not only is the brand's global HQ located in Western Australia but they are a premium surfboard and apparel business making them a perfect fit to work with WSL in the apparel and merchandise space at the WA CT event. We look forward to working with Rusty and thank them for their support of this year's Margaret River Pro."

Rusty will manage the distribution of Margaret River Pro and World Surf League merchandise along with select Rusty clothing items. The iconic R. will also have a presence digitally and via event branding which will be an epic reflection of surfing's ‘Core Brands' continuing to have a strong involvement at the elite level.

The 2022 Margaret River Pro, Stop 5 and the mid-season decider on the WSL Championship Tour will run from April 24 - May 4.
