Narrabeen turned on for a barrel fest worthy of the venue's competitive history books, pushing the standard of women's ability behind the curtain to rising heights with former CT trailblazer Sally Fitzgibbons and recent CT rookie Sophie McCulloch earning near-perfection. Electric performances from emerging stars Taj Lindblad and Jett Schilling joined proven, former CT talents Jake Marshall and Morgan Cibilic with plenty of tube time, and last-minute heroics before Maxime Huscenot and Mikey McDonagh became the first in for the Round of 16. Plus, an iconic heat of legends capped off a remarkable day of competition witnessing some of Narrabeen's best to ever do it.
