- WSL / Oakberry

COOLANGATTA, Queensland/AUS (Friday, February 23, 2024) - The World Surf League (WSL) Asia Pacific and Oakberry Açaí are excited to announce they will extend their partnership in 2024 to include the Corona Fiji Pro. The extended partnership also means that Oakberry will be represented across all major WSL APAC events through 2026.

Oakberry will continue as the Official Açaí of WSL APAC for the third year, activating at Bells Beach, Margaret River, Gold Coast, Sydney, Tahiti, and Fiji for the first time.

"Oakberry has been a wonderful partner of WSL, and seeing them continue to invest and expand their support is a real testament to their passion for professional surfing," said WSL APAC President Andrew Stark. "We look forward to working with them at more events in 2024 and beyond and thank them for their ongoing support."

The new three-year contract expansion will also see Oakberry's broadcast integration - Oakberry Surf Conditions - continue at both the Challenger Series and Championship Tour levels and the continuation of branded content production and rollout across WSL channels.

Renan Pinto, CEO of Oakberry Açaí Australia, expressed enthusiasm about renewing their partnership with the WSL, emphasizing the profound connection between surfing, the ocean, and the Oakberry community. He highlighted the mutual benefits of this collaboration, enhancing the experiences for all involved.

"The partnership with the WSL symbolizes our commitment to promoting active lifestyles and making a positive impact in the communities we serve," Pinto said. "Together, guided by shared values of authenticity, community, and excellence, we embrace and empower individuals to enjoy wellness and surf culture.

The 2024 season will also see former CT surfer come big wave charger and WSL commentator Laura Enever continue as an Ambassador for Oakberry both during her work on WSL events and while roaming the globe in search of the biggest waves to ride.
