Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) started Finals day defeating fellow Aussie Laura Enever in the Quarterfinals.
Laura Enever (AUS) had the highest single-wave score of Quarterfinal 1 -- an excellent 8.40 -- but her heat total fell short of earning an advance into the Semis.
Coco Ho (HAW) heads out to a highly anticipated Quarterfinal bout with Lakey Peterson (USA).
After a slow start to the heat, Ho registered three solid seven-point rides to take win over Peterson.
Lakey Peterson (USA) finished equal fifth. Her progressive expression earned her a secondary title: The 2014 Innovation Award.
Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) getting the blood flowing before her Quarterfinal matchup with Bianca Buitendag (ZAF).
Bianca Buitendag (ZAF) had two nine-point rides at the Swatch Women's Pro but was ultimately ousted by Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) in the Quarterfinals.
Fitzgibbons tallied an excellent 16.44 heat total during her Quarterfinal heat against the South African.
Johanne Defay (FRA) reached a new level in her WCT rookie campaign when she upset Tyler Wright (AUS) in the Quarterfinals.
Tyler Wright scored a 9.00 early in the Quarters but lacked a sufficient backup score and finished equal fifth.
Coco Ho (HAW) finished equal third, defeated in the Semifinals by eventual event-winner Stephanie Gilmore (AUS).
Johanne Defay (FRA) held her own in the Semis -- notching an excellent 8.33 in her campaign -- but was ousted by Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS).
Defay still smiling after the Semis. She leaves Trestles with a career-best finish of equal third.
Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) overtook Defay late in the Semifinals when she powered through the rough surface at Trestles for a 9.17.

Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) was unstoppable in the Final, scoring a near-perfect heat total of 19.50.
Gilmore's heat total include a Perfect 10, the only one recorded this year at Trestles between both contests.
Gilmore is the first woman to earn a WCT title at Trestles.
Gilmore and Fitzgibbons topped the podium at Trestles.
