Both the men's and women's World Title races are down to the wire, in some of the tightest races finishes ever seen. Each boasts three athletes still in contention, with only one event remaining - the Billabong Pipe Masters for the World Championship Tour (WCT) Men and the Target Maui Pro for the WCT Women.
Men's World Title
Men's World Champion to be crowned at the Billabong Pipe Masters.
Contenders:

If Medina finishes 2nd or better at the Billabong Pipe Masters, he will clinch the 2014 ASP World Title.
If Medina finishes 3rd at Pipe, Fanning will need to win the event and Slater will be out of contention.
If Medina finishes 5th at Pipe, Fanning will need to win the event and Slater will be out of contention.
If Medina finishes 9th at Pipe, Fanning will need to finish 2nd or better and Slater will be out of contention.
If Medina finishes 13th or 25th at Pipe, Fanning will need to finish 3rd to win or 5th to tie Medina.
If Medina finishes 13th or 25th at Pipe, Slater will need to win the event.
Women's World Title
Three women remain in contention for the ultimate triumph.
Contenders:
Stephanie Gilmore will be going for her sixth World Title. - WSL / Laurent Masurel
If Gilmore makes the Final at the Target Maui Pro she will win the World Title.
If Fitzgibbons wins and Gilmore finishes in 3rd place they will be tied.
If Fitzgibbons wins the event and Gilmore finishes in 5th place, Fitzgibbons wins the World Title.
If Wright wins the event and Gilmore finishes 5th or below then they also are tied.
(According to the ASP Rule Book, in the event of a tie the World Title will be decided in a surf-off. Only Fitzgibbons and Gilmore can win the World Title without a surf-off.)
