The Punta Galea Challenge is one of six stops on the 2014/2015 ASP Big Wave World Tour (BWWT) with surfers competing in waves 30-feet and above. A significant storm system in the North Atlantic is moving toward Spain's Basque Region. The Punta Galea Challenge is expected to run on Thursday, December 11, in waves 40 feet and above.
