You don't have to like this because it's inhumane and absolutely rediculous. This is a photo of @jamie_mitcho 10"10 surfboard. It was starting to get a bit late and trying to catch a last wave in before it got too dark. I started pushing myself deeper into the lineup to try to catch the wave of my life, but deep in my mind I was thinking what the fu&k am I doing. It was already 50-60ftwith bigger sets coming and getting bigger?? I waited another 10 minutes and called it. I am outta here!! Got a ride in and had to go through the shorebreak which was 15 foot faces slamming into rocks. Not easy to get in. Haha. Anyways the boys were yelling paddle paddle. Finally got in unscathed. My breathing was heavy but happy to be on semi dry land. On the way crossing the river we noticed a huge set on the horizon. @jamie_mitcho was still out there. Oh shit. We got on the otherside and walked just up the trail were we can see the biggest set of the day come. And that's were Jamie was

I went to Maui and seen some of the craziest waves attempted to be riden yesterday and earlier today. I tried my best but it was my first time out there paddling Peahi. Glad to ride a couple of waves and even more glad everyone made it to shore. Everyone that was out there deserve a metal. Wow!! It was amazing!! This shot was from @gerglong who caught an amazing wave today. I'm sure you will see it soon. Truly honored to be out there. Thank you @micah_nickens and your beautiful family for letting me stay. Also a huge thanks to the water patrol out there keeping us safe. The best in the business. Thank you Mother Nature for being awesome.

So close to were I want to be in 2016. I made some decisions to start riding longer equipment again. I feel so much smother, faster and more powerful. All in all just better. While chasing waves around the globe it's hard to sort all of the things you want to change for the next year. Just feel in love on how a longer rail line feels again. Can't wait to get that new batch from @firewiresurfboards.

My truck has been to a lot of places and I have seen lot of places because of it. I have to thank @camburgracing for making it possible for making my truck do anything I want it to, on road and off-road, mostly off-road. Haha. Right now it's getting overhauled and it's sitting inside of a warehouse getting its final touches done. Pray for waves and get out of the hell out of the way when you see a black truck flying because there's only a couple more months left of good surf. @nicktereen

Go to @surfer_magazine and check out the recent swell on the west coast "Making and entrance". I can honestly say that the last run was one of the best I've ever seen from everywhere. No matter who you spoke to everyone was getting paid on the west coast . I wanted to thank everyone that participated into make a couple of these waves happen. Thanks @jeremykingsurf for willing to fling me into this thing and Tony Perez for the backup out there. If you don't know these guys you will find out real soon, these are the guys out there everyday when it's good or might be good #repect. @damienhobgood and I tried to position out there for a paddle but was unsuccessful, but it was worth the dig. Never seen such thick waves breaking in 2 foot of water, it's sketchy. This is a dangerous wave for real ask @rickywhitlock. I feel If your not willing to push your boundaries you will never get better and you will miss things in life. Again thanks to everyone ripping this whole
