Thanks @islandviewhawaii for the incredible experience this morning. Never thought I'd ever willingly jump in the water with the oceans most feared creatures. It was breathtaking to see sharks in their natural environment, up close and personal. Definitely have a new found appreciation for their beauty. They aren't as scary as they are made out to be. If you approach calmly and respect their space they will respect you and let you observe. Highlight of my life for sure. Thanks @bgillyb for making it happen

Yesterday was...an absolute dream come true. I really couldn't have asked for a better day. A better day of waves, a better day of joy, of family, of friends, of moments that I will cherish forever. I want to thank all those people who made yesterday so special. It wouldn't have been the same or possible without you.I got this photo from @t_kothlow and started to tear up. The love and support from all my peers was one of the best parts of the day. All the women on tour are incredible human beings. Beautiful inside and out, genuine, true to who they are, fun, outgoing, courageous, passionate, simple humans with the biggest hearts. I am honored to spend so much of my life with these incredible ladies. They inspire me everyday. We may get too competitive at times but when it comes down to it, we are family. I am so proud of the display of surfing every woman put forward yesterday and throughout the whole season. So proud of where we are all taking the sport and can't wait to s

One thing learned from this Euro trip: I need to get better at adapting! Changing conditions are tough but you just have to find a way to make it happen. Bummed that I paddled around for 28 minutes today and didn't get to surf my heart out. Oh well... Lessons learned and am still so thankful for everything. Especially thankful for this guy It's his birthday today and he chose to spend it with me on the road. I am so thankful for all the sacrifices he has made for me to live my dreams. I couldn't do what I do without him. Sorry I couldn't give you a win for your birthday haha instead you have grumpy me curled up in bed! Love you so much dad! Happy Birthday!!
