Born and bred in Durban, Luke Thompson wanted to be a professional surfer from the day he stood up on a board. He loves every aspect of competitive surfing. When he's at home, Luke loves to try different sports and challenge himself with something new. Taking on a new sport like golf has challenged Luke to work on his mental game, and apply his newfound skills to surfing.
