Things To Do Around the Rip Curl WSL Finals

The Rip Curl WSL Finals are an opportunity for us all to come together and celebrate surfing's biggest day. Come hang out with us throughout the event window. If the event runs, we will shift our focus to the competition and remove everything else from the schedule that day. Be sure to follow us on social @WSL for all the latest.

WSL Walk of Champions

When: Sep 8 through the culmination of the Rip Curl WSL Finals
Where: San Clemente Pier - San Clemente, California 92672
To commemorate the first-ever Rip Curl WSL Finals, WSL has built an art installation dubbed the "WSL Walk of Champions". This art installation will be revealed at the event press conference then open to the public thereafter. The WSL Walk of Champions creates an interactive experience for fans and viewers that celebrates our history of crowning world champions. Starting on 9/9, then continuing each and every lay day The Lineup will be live on location from Trestles. These recordings are open to the public, with limited capacity. Grab your mask and come down to hear from Mick Fanning, Tyler Wright, Bethany Hamilton and more.

We Are One Ocean, Rip Curl, Surfrider Foundation Beach Cleanup in honor of the Rip Curl WSL Finals

When: Friday, September 10th from 9am - 11am
Where: San Clemente Pier (Northside, on the beach near the first palapa)
Parking: Paid parking is available in the lot next to the pier, and street parking is available in the surrounding area.

We recommend bringing your own reusable water bottle (water will be available onsite), as well as your own gardening gloves if you'd prefer not to use our shared reusable ones. Don't forget to wear sun protection and leave valuables at home. Social distancing and masks are required.

Beach cleanups reduce litter and clean up critical habitats for wildlife, but they also help protect our ocean by raising awareness about other issues and galvanizing a community to care. Conservation starts from the ground up and you can take action today by visiting weareoneocean.org to sign and share the #weareoneocean petition.
