LOS ANGELES, California/USA (Thursday, January 30, 2013) - Main Brazilian surfer and the only one of the country to lead the ASP WCT rankings, Adriano de Souza starts the 2014 surf season with a new sponsor. Mineirinho now has the support of the manufacturer of HD clothing (Hawaiian Dreams), one of the most famous surf brands in the country, who joins Red Bull, Oakley, Mitsubishi and Skullcandy in the list of sponsors.
Known for his motivation from the first steps in Guarujá ( SP ), Adriano has shown that came with a title of junior world champion four elections for best Brazilian surfer and leadership ranks in 2011, becoming a natural leader of the new generation of surfers, nicknamed Brazilian storm because of his enormous talent and bold style.
“This will be a long partnership, this time with the largest surfwear company of Brazil, HD,†Felipe Borges, De Souza's Manager, said. “The agreement will be three years and may be renewed for another three. This will give Adriano a peace of mind in order to focus only on surfing.â€
For the marketing manager of HD, Fernando Michelotti, the goal is to give HD the athletes to crave the dream of being world champion.
