With solid surf now expected for the Final of the Outerknown Fiji Women's Pro, we're anticipating a huge Cloudbreak clash between finalists Courtney Conlogue and Tatiana Weston-Webb. In fact, both were standouts during the last big swell to hit Fiji before the event, when Cloudbreak was thumping at a solid 8-to-10 feet. Both women were part of an small early-arrival crew, looking to score some bombs before competition got underway.

Weston-Webb arrived nearly 10 days prior, clocking valuable time in the moody lineup. She was rewarded, too, scoring a number of big barrels during the swell. When conditions got more playful she fired up her rail game, refining her full wraps into deadly scoring weapons, which she put to good use as the competition got underway.
Through grit, determination and a bit of luck, Conlogue's back in the Final for the second time this year.
Conlogue, meanwhile, showed zero sign of flinching on the biggest day, bagging a massive bomb out the back while her peers cheered from the channel. It was a powerful statement for Conlogue, who is ranked No. 3 on the Jeep Leaderboard, and can gain some valuable ground on Jeep Leader Tyler Wright with a win in the Final.

The beauty of this matchup is both Courtney and Tati are full of fire. Both are gritty competitors who scrap to the very end, and you needn't look much further than their stunning come-from-behind wins in the Semifinals as proof. Courtney was trailing Tyler Wright with under five minutes to go, still needing two good scores. She got them. And in Semifinal 2, Sally Fitzgibbons opened up a huge lead on Tatiana in the first half of the heat, but the Hawaiian wasn't rattled. She clawed her way back to earn a narrow 13.54 to 13.40 win.
Tatiana Weston-Webb will be making her first Final appearance of the year at the Outerknown Fiji Women's Pro. Here's how she did it.
These two chargers will be chasing Fiji glory as soon as the first horn blows Sunday, followed by Round One of the men's event.
The next call for the Outerknown Fiji Women's Pro is Sunday morning 7:30 a.m. FJT.
