Teaser: Stop No.2 of French Junior QS Lands in Bisca
1:00
After an inaugural event in Brittany, Europe's best U-18 surfers find their way back to Nouvelle-Aquitaine for a third edition of the Junior Pro Biscarrosse.

The Junior Pro Biscarrosse will bring professional junior surfers to the beautiful Northern Landes coast for a third edition of the event.

After two consecutive stops in Portugal earlier this season, the European Junior Qualifying Series move to France for two more events. Surfers will first take on a brand new location on the WSL tours in Brittany, before traveling further South on the French Atlantic coastline to land in Biscarrosse from May 16-20, 2018.

Where?

Biscarrosse sits just below the World famous Arcachon bay and about an hour's drive from the main regional city of Bordeaux. The seaside resort town has everything to offer, from the long stretch of white-sand beaches to the dense pine forest and massive freshwater lakes.

A classic Southwest France setup, Biscarrosse is a punchy beachbreak with multiple peaks that often serve up perfect waves of all sizes and shapes.

What?

The Junior Pro Biscarrosse will be Stop No. 4 on the European Junior Qualifying Series. The 2018 season started in Portugal with two back-to-back events in Espinho and Caparica and witnessed the emergence of a new batch of surfing talent.

Mathis Crozon and Melania Diaz took out the first event, Marco Mignot and Anat Lelior the second, setting up for an exciting season in 2018.

The week prior to Biscarrosse, surfers will compete at Stop No. 3 in Brittany (France), so rankings could once again shuffle dramatically before this event.

With a total of five events on the schedule in 2018, the best four results will count in crowning the 2018 European Junior Champions, and determine the four men and two women qualifiers for the next World Junior Championship.
