OFFICIAL RULES FOR WSL PURE #StopTrashingWaves Contest

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. THIS CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR PARTICIPANTS IN CALIFORNIA ONLY AND SHALL ONLY BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA

The WSL PURE #StopTrashingWaves Contest (the "Contest") will begin on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. PST and shall end on September 21, 2019 at 3 p.m. PST (the "Promotion Period"). Participation in the Contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.

Sponsor and Administrator: The Contest is sponsored and administered by WSL Pure, 149 Bay Street, Santa Monica 90405 ("PURE" or "Sponsor").

Eligibility: The Contest is only open to attendees at the Event. To enter, you must be at least 13 years of age or older as of September 1, 2019. Employees, officers and representatives of Sponsor, and members of their immediate family and household members of each such employee, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

The Contest: The Contest consists of five (5) questions as set out below:

• How many Verified ECOBOARDS were produced in 2018 by Sustainable Surf?
• How many pounds of additional waste does the production of a standard 6lb shortboard produce?
• What's the carbon footprint in total pounds of CO2 of the production of a standard 6'0 shortboard?
• How many cigarette butts were used to create the 6'9 Cigarette step up board?
• Over the course of two years how many golf balls did Alex Weber and her team collect off the coast of Pebble Beach, California?

How to participate: During the Promotion Period each day, an attendee may create one (1) online entry by submitting their email address through the online form on the lap-tops made available on-site at the WSL PURE booth within the PURE Village at the 2019 Freshwater Pro ("Event") activation and agreeing to these Official Rules (each an "Entrant" and collectively "Entrants"). The first entrant to guess the correct answer (or the closest to the correct answer) for each of the questions above shall be entitled to win one of the Prizes set out below. In case of a tie, the first winner to submit the correct answer or the closest answer will be awarded the prize based on the timestamp of the submission. If you are under the age of 13, you may not submit an entry and participate in this Contest. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence but at least 13 years of age, subject to any applicable sweepstakes, contest, or other supplemental terms, you may provide your email address and consent to participate in the Contest but only with the permission of, and under the supervision of, a parent or legal guardian. If you are a parent or legal guardian agreeing to this Agreement for the benefit of an individual between the ages of 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence, please be advised that you are fully responsible for his or her participation and any legal liability that he or she may incur.

Prize: The Prizes are five (5) custom Eco Boards from Earth Technologies shaped by Ryan Harris. 5' to 7'2: custom builds made from Marko recycled foam, resin tints and scrap veneer decks, as set out below. Each winner shall receive one of the following boards, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In total there will be five (5) winners and five (5) prizes awarded.

• 7'0 Edge Hull
• 6'3 dbl wing 4+1
• 7'1 Seedling

Prize is not redeemable for cash and no cash equivalent shall be provided by the Sponsor in lieu of the Prize. Prize is non-assignable, non-transferable, and must be accepted as awarded, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. No substitutions may be made. Any incidental expenses on the Prize not specified herein are the winner's sole responsibility. By accepting the Prize, winner agrees to release the Sponsor and its affiliates ("Released Parties") from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by entering the promotion or for damages of any kind caused by any Prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of Prize awarded, or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to and from any Prize-related activity. Prize will be awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, by Sponsor. All Prize details will be determined in Sponsor's sole discretion. Prize will only be awarded to the verified winner(s).

Winner: Winner will be determined at 3.05 p.m. PST on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Winners will be announced at the Event and shall also be notified via text and email. A winner has to be present at the Pure activation booth at the Event by 3.30 p.m. PST on September 21, 2019 to redeem the prize. If the winner is not present, the prize shall be forfeit and Sponsor shall have the ability to determine a new winner according to these terms. The winner may be required to sign and return a release as provided by Sponsor, in order to claim the Prize. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible participants. Prize consists of only those items specifically described as included in the Prize.

Prize Conditions: All Prize winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, provincial, and local taxes (if applicable) associated with the receipt of any Prize. When receiving the Prize, if potential winner fails to agree to terms and sign the requisite document or if a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and, at Sponsor's sole discretion, an alternate winner may be selected for the Prize at issue. Each potential winner is subject to verification before any Prize will be awarded.

Publicity: Acceptance of a Prize constitutes consent to Sponsor's use of winner's name, likeness, photograph, any possible footage, photographs and video, voice, opinions, hometown and/or state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, (including but not limited to internet and television broadcast) in perpetuity, without further consent or compensation, except where prohibited.

Participation Requirements: By participating in this Contest, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.

Participant Privacy: Any personally identifiable information collected from the participant in connection with this Contest will be collected by and used by Sponsor and its respective affiliates, agents and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Contest as described in these Official Rules and shall be subject to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy posted at www.worldsurfleague.com/privacy. Limitations of Liability: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, suspend and/or modify the Contest, in whole or any part of it, at any time, without notice and to award prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of the termination/suspension date. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process (if applicable) or the operation of the Contest or is considered by Sponsor in its sole discretion to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in a disruptive manner. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, incorrect, delayed, garbled, undelivered, or misdirected entries or the theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; failures or malfunctions of data transmission systems; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; or any technical problem; typographical, printing or other errors or omissions in these Official Rules, in any Contest-related advertisements or other materials, or other problems or errors of any kind whether computer, network, mechanical, human, electronic, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, in the processing of entries, in the selection or announcement of winners or in the awarding of prizes. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an individual who confirmed participation, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account held by Sponsor. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email account by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.

Disputes: By participating in the Contest, Entrants agree that: (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the Contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

Other Terms & Conditions: By participating in the Contest, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: Released Parties and their designees and assigns and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and Entrant will indemnify, defend and hold Released Parties harmless from any liability, loss, injury, or damage to Entrant themselves or any other person or entity, including personal injury, death or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize (including any Prize activity or travel related thereto) or participation in this Contest. Entrants further acknowledge that the Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Prize, including, but not limited to, its quality or fitness for a particular purpose. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Entrants and Released Parties in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any legal proceedings arising out of this Contest or relating to these Official Rules shall be instituted only in the federal or state courts of California, and the parties consent to jurisdiction therein with respect to any legal proceedings or disputes of whatever nature arising under or relating to these Official Rules. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
