Day 2 of the Cabreiroá Pro Las Americas unfolded in classic conditions again at Las Americas with pumping lefts reeling down the reef for the opening two rounds of the women's action!
So much so that the traditionally discrete WSL staff confessed a little preference for the location and amenities in Tenerife, a location that's been absent on the European series for years and is now coming back stronger than ever!
Rachel Presti had herself a pretty productive day with two heat wins and a couple of excellent scores (8+) on her way to Round 3.
Other standout performers today include the likes of Sol Aguirre, Yolanda Hopkins and Maud Le Car for example who will be threats in the latter rounds. Unfortunately the defending event winner Daniela Boldini failed to advance past round 1 so we're guaranteed a fresh new winner comes Sunday!
