Julian Wilson has been keeping the vibes positive since the COVID-19 changed the world. From workouts to family time, the break from life on the road has allowed him to slide into a routine at home.

Keeping up with his training, he's been soaking up the extended hours with his young family. With two little ones at home, it's been an opportune time to enjoy that dad life.

"It's actually been pretty cool to get a bit of a routine and not feel like I have to do a hundred things in a day to be satisfied," he recently told the WSL.

In addition to the much-needed family time, Wilson's been caring for his community of Newcastle. He just donated $1,000 dollars to The Autumn Rooms, a local cafe, to help supply frontline workers with free coffee to keep them fueled. He's also made sure some local Newcastle groms have boards thanks to his relationships with JS Industries and CATCH SURF.

These contributions were made in conjunction with the new #StayLocal campaign which the WSL just released to promote more giving in these uncertain times.
