Surf is where you find it. That's certainly the case at Silverback's on Panama's east coast. Firing on intense, short-period swell in the Caribbean, it's not for the faint of heart, and getting it good means having the freedom to drop everything and go when the forecast charts light up.
A couple of months ago, just before the world went on lockdown and chasing swells was still a thing, friends Luke Davis and Koa Smith made a quick decision to make a strike mission to Silverback's for what appeared to be the swell of the year. The hustle paid off. They scored.
RVCA just dropped a new edit simply called "Panama" featuring all of Davis's best clips. It's a study on how a guy that grew up ripping Lowers with Kolohe Andino has evolved his stylish act to take on one of the world's heavier waves of consequence.
