In 2019, her second year on Tour, Marks finished runner-up to World Champ Carissa Moore and qualified for the first-ever U.S. Olympic Surf Team. She opened up the season with her first victory at the Boost Mobile Pro Gold Coast then went on to win the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal - coincidentally both were celebrated right alongside Italo Ferreira.
