Dolphins Put On A Special Show In The Outer Banks
Ben Collins
A lucky local from Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks, North Carolina, has captured a magic moment, as a pod of dolphins enjoyed the waves he himself had only moments earlier been surfing.
Brian McArthur, a surfer and musician, told WFMY News 2 that he was returning to his truck after a session near in Hatteras Village when he captured this amazing footage.
"I've never seen them do this. They started jumping from behind the outer bar and continued all the way straight to the beach directly where I had been surfing not three minutes prior," he said.
"I thought to myself, "How blessed am I to be out here alone on this beach in the middle of summer and witness something this wild!"
The Outer Banks is one of the centers of East Coast surfing with miles of beach break potential, but it seems the waves are not the only attraction.
