World Longboard Champion Kelia Moniz and husband Joe Termini have just welcomed the newest addition to the Moniz 'ohana into the world. Their baby boy was born on November 22.
One of the most distinguished and respected surfing families in Hawaii, grandfather Tony Moniz was a standout during his era. He and his wife Tammy raised five amazingly talents kids: Micah Moniz, Kelia Moniz, Isaiah Moniz, Joshua Moniz and Seth Moniz. Collectively, they put surfing and family at the forefront of their lives. This is the first child for Kelia and Joe and the 4th grandchild of the legendary family.
Kelia was the 2012 World Longboard Champion, which was also her first year on the women's Longboard Tour. She finished runner-up to the Title in 2014. She's also an indelible member of the Roxy surf team.
And now, as she shifts her focus to motherhood, we would like to wish her and the entire family good health and much happiness as they enjoy this next chapter in their already incredible story.
