Kanoa Igarashi may have grown up in the shadow or the Huntington Beach pier, but lately his been spending his time away from the Championship Tour along the wave-rich coast of Europe -- where he's been absolutely scoring recently.

Prepping for the restart of the CT in a few weeks ago, he just made the most out of some late-season Atlantic juice.

"One trip to Portugal before the World Tour gets underway," shared Igarashi on YouTube. "I've been locked in everyday working on my weaknesses and pushing my body."

This latest edit, "Euro Step," shows how well-rounded his surfing has become since he first joined the Tour, especially his barrel riding. Igarashi is one of those surfers who could do really well in Australia, especially given how consistent his surfing has become. Could he find himself in the Rip Curl WSL Finals at year's end? We wouldn't bet against it.
