Before the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal presented by Corona, Rising Tides gave 20 up-and-coming surfers from Peniche the chance to paddle out with Championship Tour athletes and local legend Teresa Abracos, one of the pioneers of Portuguese women's surfing. The girls took over the lineup alongside the pros, empowering the aspiring surfers and championing the "if you can see it, you can be it" mindset.
