Challenger Rankings Update Heading Into Wallex US Open Of Surfing Presented by Pacifico

With huge finishes from Cole Houshmand and Bronte Macaulay as well as numerous others, we have seen multiple shifts on the Challenger Series Rankings board. Houshmand earning back-to-back wins in Sydney and now Ballito which now places him with top honors at the No. 1 spot carrying 20,700 points overall, bumping Jacob Willcox down to the No. 2 ranking. With a second place finish by Frederico Morais, he now finds himself at the 3rd ranking overall with 14,245 points, while Kade Matson's semifinal finish surges him to No. 5 on the leaderboard.

On the women's side, a win from Bronte Macaulay boosts her ranking to No. 5 overall heading into the Wallex US Open of Surfing. With a runner-up finish from Vahine Fierro, her 14,245 points bring her to 4th place. Coming off a win in Sydney and a third place finish in Ballito, Isabella Nichols takes top honors at the No. 1 ranking coming into the Wallex US Open with 19,405 points total. With a 3rd place finish on the Gold Coast, 2nd place finish in Sydney, and 5th place finish in Ballito Sally Fitzgibbons take the No. 2 ranking heading into the Wallex US Open.
