After winning the 2015 Hurley Australian Open of Surfing, Kolohe Andino (USA) currently sits on top of the Qualifying Series rankings. Andino has appeared in three QS events prior to the 2015 Samsung Galaxy Championship Tour start at the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast, notching two wins and a semifinal finish.

Andino's 2015 strategy stands in stark comparison to his approach last year where his first heat of competition occurred at the CT event at Snapper Rocks.
