This came on the back of win in the inaugural Japan Open of Surfing making her one of Japan’s best and brightest talents. The goofy footer started surfing in Chigasaki aged just six and with her timing and talent was sponsored at an early age. Her ultimate goal is to be the first female Japanese surfer on the CT and given her young age and career results she might be the country’s best chance.
