John John Florence joined the Championship Tour in 2011 and surfing hasn't been the same since. With his casual grace in the water and humble demeanor on the beach, over the course of the last nine years he's earned himself two World Titles.

In 2016, Florence pulled off perhaps surfing's greatest trifecta, winning the World Title, the Vans Triple Crown and the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational at Waimea Bay all in one swoop.

"Now I can just go surfing and take a break for a while," he said after pulling off the feat.

Last season, despite injuring his knee at the Oi Rio Pro, he won two events and provisionally qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games. After having his knee surgically repaired, Florence returned to competition in time for the Billabong Pipe Masters, where he made the quarters.

2020 is going to be a big year for the surfer from Hawaii. He's back in the water. He's been looking good in his training sessions. And to get you fired up, here's the greatest competitive moments of an already great career.
