Where?
Espinho is located in Northern Portugal, just a few kilometers below Oporto across the Douro river and is host to some of the most consistent beach breaks in the country.
The regular break walls that separate each beach can help shape long, point break-type waves on their day and the West-facing coast is highly consistent. Last year's events witnessed surfers take on big, clean waves and one has to remember Lenni Jensen's perfect 10 point ride on a backdoor-like barrel that the German junior escaped miraculously.
Europe's best U-18 surfers compete in the lone event of the season on the Old Continent.
When?
Tune in from October 6-11, 2020 for all things surfing in Espinho this year.
