Though he's only been on the Championship Tour for two years, Griffin Colapinto is North Shore tested. In 2017, he became the first Californian ever to win the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing.

Then in 2018, he made the final at the Vans World Cup Of Surfing at Sunset and made his debut at the Billabong Pipe Masters. Though he couldn't get a score to advance him through Round 3 at Pipe, Griffin charged some seriously heavy bombs in both his heats and his freesurfs.

And now, as the Championship Tour is making its return to Pipe next week, Griff couldn't be more stoked judging by the way he's dancing and surfing his latest edit. He also just got a pretty sweet new haircut from his buddy Seth Moniz.

Taking us behind the scenes with the crew at the Billabong house, Colapinto and the boys are running mock heats out front, putting their gear and strategies to work ahead of opening day on December 8th. As far as who's surfing best at the moment, we'll let you be the judge.

Tune in to the Billabong Pipe Masters presented by Hydro Flask on December 8th.
