About Daniel Emslie
Hailing from East London, South Africa, Daniel started surfing at 5-years-old. With the world-class break of Nahoon Reef as his local spot, Danie's surfing is smooth, fast and electrifying. A regional and national surfing champion, Daniel had a breakthrough performance at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships at Huntington Beach in 2022. Growing up, his favourite surfer was Mick Fanning and Daniel has been inspired to surf as fast as Mick, and now his speed is one of his greatest strengths.
