Women's Performance Awards Nominee - Justine Dupont
WSL
Justine Dupont, Lacanau, France.
A second place at the Women's Pe'ahi Challenge and a robust upbringing in the heavy French beachbreaks sees Justine Dupont as a female surfer with a lot of depth and potential, the skills needed to advance in this tricky category.
Dupont is the one female surfer that loves having a go at Nazaré. She grabs the rope and gets towed into some absolute beasts, whether they are lefts or rights. Dupont has shown of late that her commitment to big surf is very strong, and she could well be in the midst of the next big female charge when it comes. Her Nazaré performances could see her taking a deserved prize in the Women's Performance Awards category.
