The Australian Olympic Committee has told its athletes to prepare for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo to be postponed until next year. That includes the likes of Julian Wilson, Owen Wright, Sally Fitzgibbons and Stephanie Gilmore.
This move comes after the International Olympic Committee flagged that it would need around four weeks to decide if the Games should be postponed or not, against the backdrop of a global COVID-19 pandemic which is shutting down much of the world.
